Two months – the age for infants when shapes begin to change from amorphous blobs to the family cat, or a big brother.  Two months and k12jobspot.com is starting to develop its own distinguishing characteristics as well.  As the time of year that our school customers are beginning to assess hiring for next fall, and NPR portends the glut of job seekers coming into the market, let's take a moment to review k12jobspot.com.

First, some cursory statistics after the initial two months of operation:

300

the average number of visitors to the site per day

44

the percentage of visitors that are new to K12JobSpot.com

25

the percentage of visitors that arrive to the site as a result of a search engine query (largely Google)

1100

the number of searches performed on the site

4

the number of minutes, on average, a visitor spends on the site

In this time, we've also communicated with AppliTrack customers through a variety of different channels – specifically worth noting are a webinar event hosted by AASPA in early December, and a new addition to the regularly-scheduled webinars, a session titled "Intelligent Recruiting and Advertising."  One emerging idea we believe to be important is that employers see K12JobSpot.com as an inexpensive alternative when developing their advertising budgets.

In the next two months of life for K12JobSpot.com, we expect increased interest from job seekers based on a variety of marketing programs from Keith.  These include job fair attendance and direct communication with college and university career offices.  Employers will notice that posting to k12jobspot.com is even easier, and they'll have the opportunity to join the Timberlane Regional School District (NH) in differentiating themselves from other schools as a Featured Employer – visit K12JobSpot.com to see the Featured Employer promotion in action.
