Attach file(s) to an applicant
If you would like to upload a file, for example
an interview recording, and attach it to an applicant's application follow the
instructions below. Any file type may be uploaded to the applicant's file. Further, you may specify if the uploaded file should be visible to the applicant, or kept private, as would be the case with any information to which the applicant is not privvy.
Here's how:
Upload the files using the Applicant Dashboard:
-
Access the desired applicant within AppliTrack using any appropraite searching or browsing method. Open the applicant dashboard.
-
Within the Application Materials seciton, click the button labeled "Upload Document(s)".
-
The "Upload a File" dialog will appear. In this window:
- First select a file to be uploaded.
- Indicate if the file should be hidden from the applicant's view by enabling the "Hide from Applicant" checkbox.
- Identify the document type. This will be the common name listed for the document within the Application Materials list. If a new document type is needed, choose the "Other..." option and type in the name of the document.
- Finally, click "Upload" in the lower-right of the window.

(Note: if the file to upload is large in size, this step may take a few minutes to
complete. If possible, compress multimedia files: for audio files, save with a "bit rate" of
"96 kbps" or less. This will make the files as small as possible. To
give you an idea, a 20 minute recording at 96 kbps will generate an mp3 file
that is about 13MB in size. It takes up to a minute to complete the
transfer of a 13MB file.)
