Overview of the Communication Log
All inbound and outbound communication to/from applicants is logged and visible under the Communication Log.
Based on a user's permissions, it allows that user to see messages sent via the Email Applicant dialog.
The visibility of messages sent by other users is determined by a user's access level. By default, super users and HR administrators will see all communications logged for an applicant in their district and standard users will see all messages that they themselves initiated. There is a new Can View All Applicant Communication Logs permission to allow standard users to see all the applicant's messages as well.
Inbound Email Processing
Built into the AppliTrack platform, we also have Inbound
Message Processing. This exciting feature will allow you to capture both
directions of your applicant communications. Applicant replies can
now be routed to yourself or any other email you designate, or you can continue
to send from the Do Not Reply (mailbot) address.
Regardless of how emails are sent (Outlook, email web client, etc.) or what From option you choose, if an email thread was started from the Applicant Profile and you have permission to see it, you will be able to see all communications to and from an applicant in their Communication Log.
Additionally, custom items can now be logged to an applicant's record. This allows users to track non-email communications with an applicant, such as telephone calls, in-person conversations, etc., allowing users a complete picture of all communications with a particular applicant.
