Calendar/Work Days:
Minimum Requirement: 101 hours
* March 29 - May 10: 6 week season
* Expected to practice: 5 days a week, 3:30 - 5:00pm
* Average Game Time: 3.0 hours
* Tryouts: 2 X 1.5 = 3 hours
* Practices: 20 X 1.5 = 30 hours
* Games: 13 X 3.0 = 39 hours (10 season + 3 tournament)

Evening Custodian Reports to Director of Building and Grounds Duties:
Keep building and premises, neat and clean.
Maintain grounds, such as debris removal, inspect playground equipment, etc. as necessary to keep grounds in
a safe and attractive condition.
Snow removal, including manual shoveling, plowing, using snow blowers, and salting walks as appropriate.
Thorough and conscientious at appointed cleaning tasks such as scrub and disinfect all washroom fixtures,
windows, walls, floors, furniture, drinking fountains, etc.
Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.
Assume responsibility for daily building security including but not limited to doors and windows.
Comply with local laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, rubbish, materials, waste,
landscaping materials, and recyclables.
Move furniture, equipment, and/or supplies as required for various activities.
As necessary, run errands, pick up supplies, and deliver documents and materials.
Keep an inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials on hand.
Ability to use a variety of custodial equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors.
Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities: 1. Communicate and collaborate effectively with others. 2. Understand and adapt to a variety of situations. 3. Maintain quality learning environment in the classroom during the absence of the regular teacher. 4. Communicate with the absent teacher by leaving complete notes about the day(s) you substituted for them. 5. Maintain good discipline. Notify the office immediately of any serious problems that occur. 6. Get to the school early enough to familiarize yourself with the school and lesson plans. 7. Read and be familiar with the rules and regulations outlines in the Parent/Student Handbooks found on the district website for each building. 2025-26 Pay Rate: Days 1-15: $130 per day Days 16-45: $140 per day Days 46+: $150 per day
