eForms in AppliTrack
eForms in AppliTrack are designed to allow you to track additional information that may be associated with a particular applicant and/or job posting. eForms are designed in a way similar to that of custom application pages, where the user defines a name for the form and gives it a set of prompts, or questions. Unlike custom pages, which can be considered as distinct steps within the online employment application, each eForm acts as an independent, information-gathering tool. For example, it is very common to have a "Recommendation for Employment" eForm that is used to identify an applicant, a job posting, and additional information related to an offer for employment.
Each eForm also has a set of properties that define the form's appearance, it's valid recipients, it's possible context information (if it should be associated with applicants and/or job postings), and workflow that defines its behavior on delivery and completion. eForms may be immediately completed by the user in AppliTrack or, when permitted by the form's workflow, delivered to: other AppliTrack users, the applicant(s) in question, or any arbitrary email address. The delivery consists of an email message containing an invitation to complete the form online - this is authored and sent from within AppliTrack. Once completed by the recipient, the form responses are visible to AppliTrack users on the application in question.
A group of eForms bundled together is referred to as a Form Packet. Form Packets can greatly simplify completion of certain activities where multiple forms must be delivered at once. For more information see Form Packets.
